★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shady atmosphere and clientele, the music didn't help. Menu's were extremely dirty. Friendly bartender. Drinks were definitely ok. Prices are very cheap (+/- 8 euro's for a cocktail). I had a drink with Mezcal, but they used Crema de Mezcal (a very good, expensive liqueur based on Mezcal).
My general conclusion is that this place could do a lot better, if they got rid of their local-liqueur-brand-sponsorship and allow the bartenders to be a bit more creative.
Potential to be a great bar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bar is worth a visit. It has been around for decades and still serves the same cocktails and still is a good place to hang out.
After a day of pierewaaien, land here. Order a melon madness or a strawberry homicide. Ask what happened to the bottled cobra. Sit, chat and enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cocktails, wide selection from the menu and custom drinks can also be made. Sunny terrace a stone's throw from the beach that is open and airy, but has enough wind protection so you can drink al fresco deep into the evening. (They also have a very nice indoor seating area.)
Prices are reasonable, especially considering the drinks are more on the generous side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply the best cocktailbar of The Hague, possibly The Netherlands. Enjoy your cocktails while watching the sun set over the north sea. I take all my foreign friends there and without exception, they're amazed by the quality of the drinks and the amazing view.
