★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Zeemeermin (Mermaid) is a striking piece of art placed prominently in front of the newly built Palace hotel in 2004. It was made by artist Berry (Bertha) Holslag. Its revelation marked the conpletion of the upgrading project of the southern entry point to Noordwijk’s touristic beachfront area.
