Nice place with artwork/fountain, especially because of the cozy place in this beautiful town and the historic captain's house in the background.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One the occasion of the cultural year 2018, eleven artistic fountains were built in the eleven Frisian cities that are stops in the famous 11 city skating tournament (de Elfstedentocht). In Hindeloopen it was designed by the Chinese artist Shen Yuan and inspired by the city coat of arms (the Hinde or female deer). Quite striking and nicely located in the town.
