Our guest room overlooks the Prinsengracht. ABBAmsterdam is ideally located in the middle of Amsterdam’s historic city center, next to Amstelveld. “I love the Amstelveld: a picturesque square with a small 17th century wooden church. During spring, the 50 blossoming Caucasian Wingnut trees create a beautiful sight.”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The B&B is located in the center of Amsterdam city and just nearby tram station, facing Prinsengracht, so it's very convenient for sightseeing. The interior of the room was really in good taste. You can enjoy relaxing bathtime in a spacious and functional bathroom upstairs.. Negative: The host of the B&B, Willem, told me that it would be difficult to meet at check-in because of his private matters so his friend would welcome us on the day. But, later he sent us an e-mail with a link of Awaykey, a kind of agency for apartment rental, and it demanded to pay an additional 30 euros to check-in. Because I didn't hear about it before the booking, I sent an e-mail to ask him to make it precise. However, unfortunately, I couldn't receive any response from him anymore and have nothing to do but paying to an agency of Awaykey at check-in. Therefore I wanted to tell who got interested in the B&B that it's better to make sure about the check-in condition before your booking fixed. Also, though the location of the B&B is exactly terrific, you might feel noisy at midnight because there are some cafes and many torists get together around there. If you want to relax in a room at night, I cannot recommend to stay this B&B..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location is perfect! Very close to the Prinsengracht tram stop and a stone's throw away from Museumplein. The room also offers fantastic canal views with its mini balcony with wide glass windows.. Negative: Stairs leading up to the rooms are too narrow and steep. Hard to get up and down especially if you have too many luggage with you. Takes time as well for the heater/radiator to get to your desired room temperature. Drainage in the shower must be fixed as the toilet floor can get flooded during shower time..

The location of the room is just amazing, with a wonderful view of the city canals. We would have liked to stay indefinitely, because Amsterdam is truly a relaxing city, and the locals are welcoming to everyone. We recommend this B&B, don't hesitate, go for it! We will come back, that's for sure! Thank you for everything!. Negative: Nothing, everything was perfect!.
