Fantastic service! I walked in and was helped quickly and kindly. The legs of my glasses had become a bit loose, after which the employee immediately offered me new glasses! No hassle and immediate warranty.

Incredibly friendly service! Despite a difficult question from our side, everything was done to help us and my husband is super happy with his glasses. Really great, many stores can take an example!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is essentially a follow-up to my review on Hans Anders to compare the two businesses. Ace & Tate was nice, professional, and *welcoming* above all.
At Hans Anders, the clerk made comments about my androgynous appearance which was quite insulting. I don't really care for the opinion of strangers, but if you're trying to sell me a pair of 280 euro glasses you might want to ease off the transphobia because it might be the worst sales tactic.
To compare: Ace & Tate's clerks were friendly, helpful, and didn't utter a word about me trying on "mens" and "womens" models.
The frames are comparably cheap though well-made. They look modern and because they're so simple, you can wear them with virtually any outfit. Also their most popular models are available in many colour ways so you can always find a shape and colour that suits you.
Plus the turnaround time is really quick and you'll have your glasses in no time.

When you walk in to the store to pick up the glasses, they call you by your name and you are treated like a regular, valued customer. Have never had such good experiences with Dutch opticians!! Highly recommended.
