★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the AH, but this one is frustrating to shop at. I've seen smaller better organized AH. Shoppers bumping into each other and their shopping carts and the boxes of groceries waiting to be restocked. If it's busy and time to pay you need to find the queue. Aaargh! Plus points: friendly staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No hand sanitizer anywhere , staff no wearing mask (neither are the clients). Only thing you have is a spray to clean basket (which is not even located next to the baskets)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good prices and stock but best of all excellent customer service. It was my 2nd day in Amsterdam and I was trying to sort out tickets for both local travel and to Leeuwarden and back. Staff have me exactly what I needed for both and explained it all in a friendly manner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All AH look pretty much the same. This one is rather small, so certain items that can be typically found in larger stores can not be found here. Good for quick shopping visits, not the best option to do the grocery shopping for the whole week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little shop, it may seem small but you can all your bits and bobs here without question. It has a bakery too and sells cigarettes by the carton as well as single packs.
The staff are helpful and polite and very forgiving of my lack of Dutch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only good for the most most basic things. Ever since the renovations this summer the assortment has shrunk dramatically. Used to be able to buy variety of graded cheeses: down to two options now. Want to cook some beef? Better go to a different store as all you can buy here is hamburgers. Rather than provide variety they over stock with few limited choices. Space is limited, but that’s wasn’t the issue before. Used to be my go to store for 8 years, but all I get from there now is disappointment.
