De Sustainable Brand Index is een onafhankelijk perceptieonderzoek onder meer dan 7.700 Nederlandse consumenten en wordt gedaan onder de grootste 8 supermarktketens. Activiteiten op duurzaamheid, branding en communicatie worden in kaart gebracht. De belangrijkste domeinen waar Albert Heijn in het onderzoek positief op wordt beoordeeld, zijn: gezonde producten, een breed aanbod van biologische en vegetarische producten, een breed aanbod aan lokale producten en het leveren van een actieve bijdrage aan vermindering van voedselverspilling. In het onderzoek staat de perceptie centraal: wat weten en vinden consumenten van het duurzaamheidswerk van de Nederlandse supermarkten?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Selection is fine for a small store. Understand the need for checking bags to make sure everyone is paying but in corona times this doesn’t work well - all the staff come very close and touch your food

Big minus is the service:
- You are forced to use the self checkout. Today I was NOT allowed to use the normal cash register. In my instance I get controlled 80% of the time. (I must be buying the 'wrong' groceries). This takes extra time. After controlling your groceries the employees do NOT put the items back in the bag. (oh, u mag dat self doen...after all 'we just work here'). Its not our fault you buy the 'wrong things', we don't control who get's inspected and so on.
If you buy any fruit you also needs to scan it in a separate scanner first (and go to that line). This adds time.
How about adding someone to bag the groceries for you in the normal cash line? I'd be happy to pay another euro for this. And it would be as quick as the self scanners...
I rather go to Jumbo or order online

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little, local supermarket which stocks a wide variety of items (much like a Tesco express, back in the UK) and not expensive at all. We were staying nearby so this place was really useful for us, stocking up on water and other basic groceries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small location. Most of the times I went it was pretty dirty and the shelves were empty. I never had to interact with staff so I don’t know how that is

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The big minus is that only maestro or cash works here. After I scanned everything the employee working there helped me understand why my card was not working.
Really frustrating to see that you cannot pay. I had to use the cash register but in an eventuallity that the cash register is closed you are forced to self checkout which was not a great experience
