β β β β β They will, like all Albert Heijns, mislead you. Here's how they do it: put a bunch of different items on sale, 2 for 3.98. Mix in items one can reasonably assume are of the same category and therefore on sale as well. Customer will take these to the check out and find that these are in fact not on sale, but extra expensive. Customer will be faced with a choice: reclaim the money or forget about it. Every time a customer does not assertively reclaim their money, the trick has worked. I loathe " smart entrepreneurship " like this. It's deception, plain and simple. When I complained, the lady in charge deems it "my opinion".

β β β β β It's a big decent enough Ah to be almost called AH XL. But its not fully an XL and isn't the most best big Ah out there. I've usually found the ones in Zuid much better!

Low variety of products.
If you travel from abroad and end up shopping here, (any Albert Heijn) they don't accept any foreign cards, except for MasterCard. They ask for payments with cards, but there is an ATM inside for those who have the courage of facing all your cards being rejected by the machine and the cashier while a long line of other customers await behind you.

The self-paying machines ask for random control by the staff, but they don't come, we need to go find her Then she emptiesour full bag and don't even help us repack, she leaves without a word. She does not even give us the ticket so we need to go find her again. Ineffecient and unfriendly.
