β β β β β Very high quality Albert-Heijn near Amsterdam Centraal. Situated in an old, nicely renovated building. The range is good for a city-centre shop. Two entrances to the store. Good food option.

β β β β β There are a few Albert stores in the city. However, this is the biggest one we found that had a wider selection of groceries. They do not accept Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. I had to pay cash each time I went here.

β β β β β This is the fanciest super market I've ever been to! The food is normally priced but the interior is very old and beautiful. I would recommend picking up some cheap pastries here and walking around the city instead of sitting in an expensive cafe.

β β β β β I like the Albert Hein chain of supermarkets, they are a bit more expensive than the Dirk van broek chain, which also have a lot more range of products. This Albert hein has more food and wine choices. It is inside an heritage looking building right opposite the lovers boat canal cruises.

β β β β β Great little supermarket I popped into on the day I was leaving. I absolutely love taking home produce that I can't get in the UK. And this place, right across the way from Central Station was a perfect last stop for me before my train ride home.
