About Air Traffic Control the Netherlands
LVNL moderniseert sector 3, de drukste en meest complexe sector in het Nederlandse luchtruim waar vluchten van Schiphol en Rotterdam het verkeer van Eindhoven en Brussel kruisen. Door de routes uit elkaar te halen zijn er nu nieuwe hoofdwegen waardoor vluchten elkaar minder in de weg zitten. Door de modernisering kunnen de airlines beter plannen, en zijn er minder minder vertragingen in het luchtruim en minder co2-uitstoot. Ook maakt het de weg vrij voor modernisering van de routes naar Schiphol en Rotterdam bij de Luchtruimherziening.
