About Al Bàcaro
The menu offered at al Bàcaro is inspired by the tradition of Italian cuisine, in which the essence of the dish is the main ingredient.
The use of few but refined ingredients brings out the original flavors to the fullest, without the need of adding distracting elements to the flavor of the main ingredients chosen.
The tradition of the authentic Italian Osteria (tavern) is based on a delicate and refined “cuisine”, light and balanced, however a subdued ambition to impress by modern combinations of ingredients and flavors.
Our focal point is to create an Italian Osteria, based on the solid principals of real taste and quality of the chosen ingredients served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
With full respect for nature, we follow the rhythm of the seasons by using animal or vegetable products according to the season and we will always keep in mind their natural cycle and life span.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb Italian restaurant. Their menu is simple but all their dishes make fabulous use of fresh seasonal produce. Their bread and pasta is made in-house. We had melanzane parmigiana for starter, and mains were grilled sea bass, and a smoked pasta with aubergine which was hands down one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. Accompanying the mains were agretti, courgettes and roast potatoes, all of which had so much wonderful flavour. Even the simple radicchio and tomato salad was memorable! I would highly recommend, and advise booking ahead.

Cosy and familiar atmosphere, topped up by a very caring, professional service and super delicious cuisine. I was very pleased to witness the care with which every product is sourced and then put together with love on the plates.
Very refreshing to visit a great restaurant and be welcomed with such modesty. LOOOOVE IT.

I recommend Al Bacaro and Trattoria Graziella to anyone seeking the kind of mouth watering cuisine that makes you wish you grew up with an Italian grandmother.
Vegan options are excellent. Pasta is made in house without eggs. Very accommodating for vegans. I am not so was able to sample the freshest beef carpaccio and fresh spaghetti with pork cheek. Bread is also made fresh. And the olive oil? God.
