★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cheese selection. While customs do not want you to take back unpasteurized cheese back to america you can check it in your luggage and cross your fingers and hope you get it when you get home. We've done it a few times. So long as they don't search all your luggage you're fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection of Gouda cheese. If you are a Gouda cheese fan like me, then you would enjoy this place! I understand they seem like a chain in Amsterdam, but this particular location has a lovely lady that spoils you with samples and knowledge on where the cheese are made and how they are made.
The 24 month aged Gouda and the flavored truffle Gouda are a must try!
If you like a little more of a kick, they have extra old gouda, one of the only places I've seen that offers it. If you like a more mild tasting Gouda, they have fresh young ones as well.
I was also informed they sell entire wheels of this stuff on pre-order (roughly 50-60€) for anything between 25-60kg .
