★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you blink, you'll miss it! I sure did, exiting the train on my way down the small side street. if it weren't for a few eager iphotographers, I'd have boarded the train completely oblivious to it's location.
small and unassuming...but bravely stands commanding the attention and study by those gripping tight the human condition. as a real fan of history especially the loin's roar from the lambs spirit...this was an inspiring symbol the stands tall in the hearts of many and cast shadows as a reminder in the sands of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely located at the market space at Wester Kerk near the Anne Frank House, is a humble sculpture of Anne Franks, the works of Dutch sculptor Mari Andriessen in 1975. Here you find Anne in dress, hands held behind her back, standing straight. The height of the sculpture allows you take photos next to Anne if interested.
Give the Anne Franks Statue a quick look-see before or after your visit to the Anne Frank House and/or Wester Kerk. Note that she can be rather busy during the day with many tourists interested in taking pictures with the statue. Just be patient if you want unobstructed pictures. Otherwise, visit her early in the morning when there are fewer people around.
