Extremely expensive! Simple sandwich with tasty salmon. Kibbeling tasteless from the microwave, definitely not recommended.

β β β β β Een portie kibbeling a β¬ 5,00 (!) wordt zonder blikken of blozen opgewarmd in de magnetron. Mijn ervaring met Haringkar de Gigant was bijzonder teleurstellend te noemen.
A portion of kibbeling at β¬ 5.00 (!) Is heated in the microwave without looking or blushing. My experience with Haringkar de Gigant was particularly disappointing.

Kibbeling ging de magnetron in en smaakte at eindelijk naar niks, met een vies rubber structuur.
Viskoekje door drenkt in vet.
Duur en totaal geen kwaliteit, nooit meer.
3 portions of (small) kibbeling and 2 fish cakes, 19 euros.
Kibbeling went into the microwave and the food finally tasted like nothing, with a dirty rubber structure.
Fish cake soaked in fat.
Expensive and no quality at all, never again.

β β β β β Fresh fish sandwiches and raw herring (Haring) which is sushi Dutch-style and must be tried. We also tried the shrimp sandwich - a little salty but if that's how it is supposed to taste then so be it.
Seems to have a loyal following of locals and tourists alike. You can also get coffee and other drinks from this place. Prices are reasonable. There are public chairs nearby if you want to sit down, people watch, and enjoy their food. English well-spoken.
