★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anton Jolingbrug (Bridge 20), named after the architect Anton J. Joling (1857-1934), is a wide bridge which spans the Herengracht at Leliegracht. It is a beam bridge with steel girders and brick abutments. Connecting to Bridge 21 at a right angle it then spans the Leliegracht. The bridge unit sits in an area heavy with pedestrian traffic and surrounded by restaurants with outdoor seating.
