★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beste "duurzame" bank. Hoewel ik geloof dat jullie een stuk beter zijn dan andere banken vind ik het toch vreemd dat ik zoveel dure CGI reclames te zien krijg. Hoeveel van mijn geld gaat daar wel niet heen? Ook kost het veel energie om deze te maken. Jullie hebben ook echt veel grote kantoorpanden, ook niet echt van deze tijd.. Ik denk dat jullie nog een lange weg te gaan hebben voor jullie snappen wat echt duurzaam en goed voor het milieu is.
 Best "sustainable" sofa. Although I believe you are a lot better than other banks, I still find it strange that I see so many expensive CGI commercials. How much of my money goes there? It also takes a lot of energy to make. You also have a lot of large office buildings, not really up to date either.. I think you still have a long way to go before you understand what is really sustainable and good for the environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked a question in English (I do not speak dutch) and they replied "we are a dutch company and therefore will answer your question in Dutch". Unfortunately, I do not speak Dutch, and think this is p bad and exclusionary customer service from a supposedly left oriented bank. Do not go there if you are not Dutch, because they will refuse to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After I went to another bank and was told they couldn't meet with me to open a new account for a month!!!, I signed up online with ASN Bank. What a contrast. It did take about a week and a half for them to verify who I am, to get the signed documents from me, and to send out my debit card and digipass. That was a few days longer than another full service bank I am using which has numerous offices. But other than the very slight delay in opening a new account, everything else with ASN has been great. So much better than the first bank which told me to come back next month. Try ASN; it is a good bank with low costs and without the BS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to open a bank account with ASN as it is an ethical bank but after 1.5 months I still don't have an account. First, they made me meet with AMP Group to identify me, I had to make sure I was home for a window of two hours specifically for this but no one showed up. After rescheduling they did show up and they spent 30 minutes checking my passport and all necessary documents. A few days later I received mails from ASN that they don't have the necessary information and I need to be identified once again. I sent them my details directly but they never responded. I voiced my dissatisfaction but instead they ignored my mails and keep sending generic reminders that I need to provide them with proof of identification. Additionally, they refused to speak anything other than Dutch which I luckily speak but I prefer English and thought this was exclusionary. I am very disappointed as I was eager to join a better bank but they are making it impossible and have wasted my time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seems this bank is doing good work with regards to sustainability, but you can only open an account if you have a Dutch passport, so quite a lot of limitations.
