true! Albert Einstein WAS here. this 19th century building used to be the physics lab of the university of Amsterdam.nowadays you are most welcome as a guest in this family run bed & breakfast in de Plantage, the green hart of Amsterdam.
most interesting places are within walking distance. bike rentals, tram and underground stops around the corner will take you where ever you want to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FABULOUS Bed & Breakfast! Extremely comfortable beds, pillows and linens!!! Roomy bathroom and shower in each of the 2 separate bedrooms. DELICIOUS BREAKFAST with many choices: fresh pastries, cheeses, fruits, jams, yougurt, granola, soft cooked eggs, coffees, teas, fresh squeezed juice and even some homemade cakes. Claartje is a gracious hostess and a WEALTH of information. She helped us get Museum tickets, gave excellent directions, and recommended yummy restaurants nearby (Na Siam, Plantage, a Tavola). The location is wonderful. Close to the Central Train Station, and around the corner from the subway and buses. We easily walked from her place into and all around Amsterdam. If you want a quiet day she is near the zoo and Botanic Gardens. Claartje is also an artist with some of her interesting work on display in the home. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!!!
