β β β β β It is okay. If you have a local all museum pass then it is fine to worth it but on its own a tad expensive. Nice staff who demonstrate how local Dutch cookies and candy is made. They were friendly but maybe a little bit unsanitary. I think the Dutch visitors kids enjoyed it the most making cookies.

β β β β β This lovely small museum brings the classic bakery to life. The delicious smell of cookies and other treats lingers wherever you walk. Volunteer bakers are showing how the classic Dutch cookies are baked. And on the 1st floor chocolate making is displayed and shown. A place we can't skip whenever we visit Medemblik!

β β β β β It was very interesting! All major events of the history of the Netherlands they elaborated upon, from the industrialization up to the pillarization of society, and from the exploitation of slaves in the colonies up to the Second World War. It is the history of the country told through the tale of how it impacted bakers. Most fun of all are the little lectures and sometimes even workshops given by the volunteers. At the end of the tour is a little shop where you can purchase anything baked in the store. It is highly recommended, however, to understand Dutch, in order to engage in the exhibitions.
