But today I asked for a slice of thenmost chocolate chocolate cake they have and with no doubt I was given a slice of layered chocolate cake with chocolate fronsting and chocolates on top. TERRIBLE!!!! Could only taste sugar, some odd fruit flavor, and zero chocolate. Was the laugh of tha party. Really sad experience today, no idea how a chocolate cake could be a hard thing for a proper baker. But at least there are still the DomTorentjes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was told that was the best “pasticceria” of Utrecht... I have to say that it is nothing special, I had difficulty to find something special and unique. It seems that in the Netherlands cinnamon, almonds and butter are the maximum of the creativity. And also the saleswoman was quite rube in reply to questions about the making of and the ingredients (nothing was written next to pieces, how can you know what inside?). What a pity!
