Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam West aka Broedelet 35 is run by a family with a fascination for wheels, particularly bicycle wheels. The house, built in the early 1960's, hosts a collection of unique bicycle designs and other collectables. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The B&B is perfect. It's runned by a lovely couple that care about your staying. They provided you with a nice breakfast, indications about how to move thru the city and things to see and do regarding your interests. The property has only two rooms with a shared bathroom (the toilet and the shower are in diferent rooms, so that is a plus) which are extremely confortable and with an incredible view to a canal. The only downside for someone could be that is located far from the city center, in a local area (this could be a plus for someone looking for a authentic view of Ámsterdam), but appart from this, i'd say the Is even better than an hotel if your looking for a lively cultural experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shady business. Due to a global pandemic would not honor a cancellation, except only offer a voucher, after telling me that they are not sure if the business will still be open in a year. Everybody is hurting. No reason to to be like this during this time.
So now it's my fault that we choose to postpone the marathon until next year due uncertainty of Covid-19, not knowing when exactly we will travel, i can't even book a fight that far out, and being told to reschedule my booking with a specific new date? All you had to do was honor the cancellation, and i would have re-booked when i knew the dates. But you stole the money i paid for the booking, and told me yourself that "we may or may not be open next year anyway". So yes, what originally was a non-refundable booking that we were looking forward to going to, was now canceled due to a global pandemic, out of our control. YOU were greedy and took advantage of that. And that is a Shame on you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing and cosy place where you feel like home. The hosts are really kind and helpful (we had some emergency situation and we got help immediately, which was way more than we expected). Right after we arrived they showed us what to see and where to go in Amsterdam. The room was perfectly clean with an amazing view at the canal. Localization is also perfect, nearby subway station. Delicious, fresh breakfast made by Rhalf on our eyes - hot buns, pancakes together with tasty coffee. It's just the perfect start of the day. For sure we will come back there. We truly recommend this place to everyone!
