About Bibliotheek Neude
Vroeger ging je naar de Bibliotheek om boeken te lenen. Tegenwoordig kunnen onze 75.500 leden en andere geïnteresseerden veel meer beleven bij de bieb. Per jaar begroeten wij 1,3 miljoen bezoekers in de Bibliotheek Neude en onze 12 vestigingen en zijn er meer dan 2,3 miljoen uitleningen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice old building. I like to walk Al the floors after so many year while that wasn't possible. Good thing it has been given back to the people of Utrecht. Renovation is nicely done with respect to it's history. Some details still need a bit TLC. Very nice adosphere for quite studying or reading a newspaper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building is very nice, it's old but also quite modern. There are a lot of books, there are also some DVDs and listening books. For studying and quite reading there are also some quite rooms, with enough room for you to work or read. I haven't found any comics or anything like them, but there is a whole lot of variety between the books they have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why do library workers speak aloud like in the street? Is that a common thing in the Netherlands for libraries? Omg, people eating, chatting, no respect at all. Every time I go, it happends.the book trolley like a tractor .. who cares. They like noise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique building, a former post office with a huge arched central hall, is now converted to the main city library with study facilities. The arches are parabolic, not catenary arches. Worth the trip and certainly a go-to place when visiting Utrecht.
