β β β β β I rented from Bike City a Hybrid bike for a multi-day road trip across the Netherlands. The bike was in perfect conditions and the owner is simply the kindest guy you will ever meet. He gave me a lot of suggestions / tips about the equipment needed.

β β β β β We had great service here. And the bicycles were very nice. One of the owners was super friendly and told us of great areas to ride. He was so right we had a blast wish we would have found this place three weeks ago. It's okay there is always me t year. Thank you for the great bike and friendly knowledgeable service. (Ps they have a great repair shop too)

While there is a queu of people waiting , this man takes 20 minutes. 20 !!! To elaborately discuss a map and show how a bike works to just one customer..... ONE !!!! Without even greeting other customers in line or asking why they are here.
If repairs are as efficient as this, the prices are probably not justified.
Addendum 29/01/2021: look at te lousy response by the shop-owner deflecting all responsibility or willingness to improve. Says enough. Don't go here.

β β β β β The service and quality we had at Bike City was absolutely amazing!! Not only the bikes were very high quality, quiet (with 3 gears!!) and convenient compared to other bikes we booked in the city 2 days before, the owner was very welcoming, explained to us in the nicest way possible, and recommended to us places to visit in the city. Not only that, he was kind and forthcoming to allow us to return the bike on Sunday (when the shop is closed), just for not ruining our experience because we really wanted to rent the bikes that looked very appealing to us... So he just trusted us to secure the bikes outside and return the keys to the business. This was one of the best experiences they had in Amsterdam. 5-star and above!! Absolutely recommended!! Thank you very much Bike City!!
