Gebeld of ze wilden helpen met een afgelopen ketting van de elektrische fiets. Ze zeiden dat ze dit zouden doen. In de zaak: Nee we helpen niet. Heet dat service? Ik vind het ronduit waardeloos!
Called if they wanted to help with an expired chain of the electric bicycle. They said they would do this. In the case: No, we don't help. Is that called service? I think it's worthless!

Mijn fiets ter reparatie aangeboden: zeer vriendelijke ontvangst; er werd goed geluisterd Γ©n oprecht meegedacht naar de fietsptoblemen. s middags was de fiets weer klaar en hij rijdt weer als vanouds. Zeer content mee. En wat een mooie zaak!!
Offered my bike for repair: very friendly welcome; they listened carefully and genuinely thought along with the cycling problems. In the afternoon the bike was ready again and it rides as usual. Very pleased with it. And what a beautiful thing!!

Heb nieuwe fiets besteld en levertijd zou nov.2022 zijn. Na overleg werd contact gezocht met collega Bike-Totaal winkel die gewenste fiets nog op voorraad had. Nieuwe fiets werd daarna op zeer korte termijn afgeleverd. Prima hulp van medewerker Bike Totaal winkels en klantgericht geholpen.
Ordered a new bike and delivery time would be Nov 2022. After consultation, contact was made with a colleague Bike-Totaal store that still had the desired bicycle in stock. New bike was then delivered on very short notice. Excellent help from employee Bike Totaal stores and customer-oriented assistance.

Super goede, vriendelijke en snelle service! Helaas is mijn fiets in 3 maanden tijd, 2 keer gestolen, gelukkig verzekerd en regelde Kemps achter de schermen alles met de verzekering. Binnen 2 dagen had ik een nieuwe fiets.
Very good, friendly and fast service! Unfortunately my bike has been stolen twice in 3 months, luckily insured and Kemps arranged everything with the insurance behind the scenes. Within 2 days I had a new bike.

Voor wie nog twijfelt…… een fiets koop je bij je lokale fietsenmaker! Niks is fijner om te ervaren vanaf het uitzoeken, testen, samenstellen en uiteindelijk kopen van een fiets in mijn geval bij bij Kemps Bike Totaal. Ook in Corona tijd antwoord op e-mail in tegenstelling tot andere zaken. Kocht al eerder fietsen hier toen nog in de Korenbrugstraat en deze fietsen inmiddels 20-jaar oud rijden nog altijd! Nu een Stromer ST2 Sport hier gekocht. Een paar kleine items die naar voren kwamen in de eerste ritten w.o. lawaai van rem schijf, rammelende kentekenplaat en loszittend afdicht klepje zijn meteen opgepakt en opgelost. Hoe fijn als je hiervoor zo de werkplaats in kunt rijden! Je bent misschien iets duurder uit maar geloof me aftersales service bij een fiets (helemaal bij E-bikes) betaald zich dubbel en dwars uit! Ik beveel Kemps (en Stromer) van harte aan.
For those who are still in doubt… you can buy a bicycle at your local bicycle repair shop! Nothing is better to experience from selecting, testing, assembling and ultimately buying a bicycle in my case at Kemps Bike Totaal. Also in Corona time an answer to e-mail unlike other things. Bought bicycles here before in the Korenbrugstraat and these bicycles are now 20 years old and still ride! Bought a Stromer ST2 Sport here. A few minor items that came up in the first rides including noise from brake disc, clattering license plate and loose sealing cover were immediately picked up and fixed. How nice if you can drive into the workshop for this! You may be slightly more expensive, but believe me aftersales service with a bicycle (especially with E-bikes) pays off twice as much! I heartily recommend Kemps (and Stromer).

Went to the shop after reading some positive reviews here on Google and while the initial experience (pre-purchase) was decent, the post-purchase experience has been nothing but terrible and sad. I bought a rather expensive bike and some accessories to go along with it for a total price of 2500 euros and I was assured to expect excellent quality and class, both from the product as well as from the customer service of this shop. But the bike was plagued with problems right from the start and the customer service was pathetic. A shocker leak was called normal when the shocker manufacturer's own manual as well as multiple other people who ride similar bikes did not see it as normal; there was significant tyre wobble and even that was called normal for a mountain bike because of such bikes having fat tyres. The biggest disappointment was when the frame welds developed pin-holes for which the bike was taken in to be sent to the manufacturer (in Germany) and was promised a resolution within a maximum of 3 weeks. Despite attempts from my side to get updates, I was not provided any updates for over 4 weeks and finally, after 4.5 weeks, I was asked to collect the bike in exactly the same condition (without any fixes). When I refused to collect the bike because the issues were still there, I was told that there is no issue and the owner/manager Rick was not the professional I had hoped for during the whole episode. To cut the long story short, I learnt from the manufacturer that the bike was never sent to them and the shop had lied to me all this while; the bike shop was never able to furnish any details or reports to prove that the bike had ever been sent to manufacturer also, while the manufacturer confirmed on email that they did not know about the issue. So, based on my personal experience, I think this shop is best avoided if you expect fair and ethical treatment and good customer service. Some of the staff is decent and will try to help but then the top management/owner are definitely not the kind of person you would want to do business with. Had
