Een groot aantal producten is verkrijgbaar in twee breedtematen, let dus goed op welke u kiest. U kunt het symbool van de afbeelding op de voet terugvinden op de binnenzool.
Let op! Op de doos staan de Duitse breedtematen vermeld. De Nederlandse voet is gemiddeld smaller dan de Duitse voet, dus om die reden is het ingekleurde voetje bij Birkenstocks in Nederland vermeld als ‘normaal’. Op de doos staat echter ‘schmall’ omdat dit de Duitse breedte maat betreft.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible! I waited patiently in line outside due to regulations- that is no problem at all. Once I entered I knew exactly which 2 colours I wanted to try on and in 1 size. While I was looking in the mirror and making my mind up, the woman working there loudly told me not to try them too long because she "can already see my footprint in the shoe" (!!?!). It was so rude I was completely in shock. I have NEVER in any country been told I cannot try on the shoes. The man working there backed her up, trying to explain to me as if I didn't understand. Of course I immediately removed the shoes (which were in completely new condition after being my foot for like 5 minutes)- feeling just absolutely terrible to be spoken to like that and I left empty handed, even though I was ready to purchase the black pair. Went home and ordered the exact same pair online instead. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. They are absolutely awful people and it was so not a classy way to handle customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The woman there was very rude, unforgettable. I was trying the shoe and she pointed out to me saying I cannot wear the show because my footprint stays!! Are you kidding me!! Despite how angry I was, I purchased the show without even trying. I think they are discriminative as soon as they notice you speak English! Terrible, don’t recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place at all-costs! Terrible service, very unfriendly and unhelpful staff who do not seem to care and/or have knowledge about the products they sell.
I was very much looking forward to check out the shoes. As I never had Birkenstocks before, I chose to visit the store to get advice about the size and fit. It's not like you're buying Vans, which have an easy fit. When I asked for a size (I didn't know which size would fit me best, 37/38, narrow, wide fit), they referred me to the shoes laying around and said they all fit the same, so if one fits, it doesn't make a difference to try another one. While I was trying on the shoes, they also said I was making a 'mark' in them and that I was already leaving my footprint, practically ruining the shoes in case I would not buy them. I left the shop feeling very uncomfortable, it was an extremely unpleasant experience and I will never return. I was ‘helped’ (you really can't call it that) by a person named Jan.
Note to the owner: do not ask me for more information. Just fix your attitude and the attitude of your staff, your reviews have been terrible for the past 4 years.

I get that we have to wait in line due to covid regulations. But after 3 customers exited the shop, we were rudely gestured, all the way from the till, that we were still not allowed in.
We’ll buy our birckenstocks elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly owner, but has no knowledge about his products. He's just trying to sell you something which doesn't fit. I was standing on the edge of the sandal. He was saying it should be like that just like a racecar chair. On the website from Birkenstocks itself its written don't ever wear sandals when your feet are on the edge. Something felt of with this store so I ran.

His knowledge of the different materials and styles was very helpful. Always happy with my experience at this store. Only wish there were a few more of the less traditional styles and colors.
