Unique concept, great service and surprisingly good coffee.

Really cool environment, with friendly staff. No issues with trying any of the gear, and the cofee was good too. I will definitely be returning for both the instruments, and cafe

real nice owner...i''m 70 yrs old and have had to deal with many, many types of sleazy/untrustworthy music salesmen...this guy is, by far, not them...nice assortment of musical instruments, mostly(duh) guitars...reasonably priced, decent instruments...kind of like MusicAll In, but much closer if you live in Leiden and don''t own a car...anyways, this guy IS nicer than some of the people that work there...he does sell coffee, too...and i agree that it''s good coffee...he also does work on instruments...and i''m very, very glad he survived the pandemic, so far... support your local merchants, if you will. It will help Leiden stay as wonderful as it is...and, for the record, i didn''t know this person before meeting him at his shop...this review is totally unmotivated by any such dynamic...one more thing, in case you''re sort of new at buying an instrument...there are a number of ''name brands/beroemd merks'' that inexperienced buyers might be looking for...save those for later, if at all... as a beginner, a good playing(strings should not be high off the fretboard), nice sounding(very individual/subjective) guitar that feels right/comfortable in the hand you use for fretting(on the neck of the guitar) is what you want...you have time, after purchase, to bring it home and play it for a while to make sure it''s what you wanted...but sit around the store(reeeeal comfortable atmosphere(goed sfeer) and try out guitars until you find one you''re pretty sure about...take your time...i''ve spent hours(five) going through guitars before i chose mine, many years ago... music is medicine/therapeutic. and science has proven that it rewires the brain in such a way that improves mental ability...look it up on google if you think i''m incorrect. i hope you get many, many years of pleasure from playing whatever instrument you choose...

The best coffee bar in town. Nice people working here, the place is wonderful. Especially on Saturday when the market is open. The sphere here is always lovely and combination of guitars and coffee is very original.

Such a cool place. Joan Baez tracks playing in the background, a beautiful view over the canal, great coffee and a good collection of high quality, inexpensive guitars and amps. A great place to relax and enjoy a coffee and embrace your in retro-self.

Very nice combination of a guitar shop and a coffee place. Generally, there is live music every Sunday. So far I have enjoyed my visit every time and also great coffee.

What a nice store! Get a coffee while you think about the guitar you will buy. Mostly acoustic guitars, all well set-up. Nice guy as well. Located in the centre of the old city of Leiden.

This cafe is a rare gem in Leiden where slow pace is embraced and the owner will not bark at you for getting work done with laptop. Everything I tried has always been tasty (coffees and muffins) and there is always great music playing.
