β β β β β Good burritos and generous portion sizes. I did find them to be on the bland side compared to burritos I've had in the U.S. Fortunately I had a jar of salsa verde in the fridge which elevated the flavor.

β β β β β Iβm from Los Angeles and grew up eating Mexican food. The pulled pork burrito tasted so authentic and way better than Chipotle. Sour cream and guac were simply perfection. Thank you thank you thank you β€οΈ it really hit the spot. This is my new favorite burrito place in Amsterdam.

β β β β β Not gonna lie the beef burrito was super disappointing.
besides the pico de gallo and habanero sauce that was missing, the meat sauce is just very boring. Theres some spice to it but it's very 1 dimensional and nothing to give it some freshness like cilantro lime or onion.
I did get to quote Brooklyn Nine-Nine by saying "man, they forgot my pico de gallo",
Wich actually made me happier than the burrito.

β β β β β Some years ago Logan closed up his Taco Shop on the corner of Tolstraat/Amsteldijk, packed up his bags and headed to Madison, Wisconsin (really, Logan?!). Ever since, Amsterdam has been searching in vain for a worthy heir apparent to take the crown of "Best Tex-Mex in Town". Sadly, the search must go on. Burritos Anonymous makes a noble effort, worth the money, but one which could be improved on multiple counts. I ordered the Pulled Pork burrito with salsa verde; the missus had the Vegetarian, also with salsa verde. The pulled pork (house made) was good, albeit slightly too sweet, and the burrito itself was richly filled with rice, beans, cheese (not sure of the variety), etc. The tortilla chips (12 of them, in a little paper bag) were also good, seemingly freshly made and with a nice toasted flavour. The problem? The burrito lacked any depth of flavour. Salt & pepper is hard to judge these days, with so many people preferring a sodium-light diet, so no demerits for me having to add a bit of my own. However, one would expect clear hints of cumin, cilantro and lime in a proper Tex-Mex recipe, and these were missing altogether. It was all just rather....average; not the kind of thing where one finishes the last bite and wishes there was more to be had. Good effort, Burritos Anonymous, but not worthy to be crowned the new king in Amsterdam.

β β β β β I think the best burrito I have had in Amsterdam, super easy to veganise the eggplant burrito and the xxxxxxl spicy sauce is serious, no messing around with that sauce. Delicious, I think I'll go back tomorrow for round two. Thanks guys!!

β β β β β Huge delicious burritos! They also sell all of the Mexican hot sauces Valentina Cholula and El Yucateco, PLUS Mary Sharp's which I can't buy at the stores in Wisconsin. The guys there were great too! Do yourself a favor and get a burrito for lunch.
