★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best pub I have been in in Amsterdam. Its a smaller genuine dutch bar with no tourist, which make it very cozy. The atmosphere is awesome. The employees working there are also very inviting and nice. Lets not even underestimate their very low beer prices and supply!!! If you are into board games, they even have a wide range of that to choose from!
If you ever visit Amsterdam and want a genuine dutch bar, this is the place for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love it! Great cafe! I came by to relax and maybe play some games of chess. I was very happy on both fronts. Also, there is free WiFi and a for one Euro you can charge the battery on your phone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My colleagues and I had a great time here last night. The bar allows folk to bring their own food. The bar itself is small cozy and local. The crowd is a mix of local patrons with a sprinkling of expats. It's a great place to have some food, grab a few beers and play some board games.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cozy Dutch pub might have been the highlight of my trip to Amsterdam. I think this is exactly what you’re looking for if you’re searching for a brown bar/café. It felt like a local spot. We were surrounded by people playing chess, catching up over a drink or meeting for their weekly poker night. The bar staff was lovely and helpful. They made us feel so welcome! They’ve got really fun games as well. You’ve got to go!
