★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is highly ranked among tourist and its location is convenient when coming from the cute little '9 streets' but the cafe is small, a bit overpriced and can get crowded. It's decor is old Dutch style but if you want to go for a short coffee break there are better, perhaps more contemporary, Dutch cafes. Try the CT for example.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious and authentic Dutch breakfast! Located in the quiet neighborhood of West Canals, one can enjoy their coffee while looking over the calm river stream. The staff is absolutely adorable at Do Heok. It’s also important to know they take cash only, no cards (unless it’s MasterCard).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You probably cannot get more Dutch than at this nice coffee bar in the center of Amsterdam. Location and set up is very local as well as the menu. Pancakes and sandwiches are very tasty and nice. Price is fair and service is fast!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from here is really nice, the waitresses were helpful and friendly and the food was tasty, with portions quite big. Go there in the morning (before 10) to enjoy the view in silence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After I got seated I waited around 30 min for the waitress to get the menu and order. She was friendly but clearly inexperienced which I didn’t mind so much since the view here was nice and the sun was shining.
The rose house wine is surprisingly nice but the poffertjes and food was mediocre. For such a long waiting time I expected that the order would be right ( it wasn’t I ordered poffertjes with homemade jam and some toast with warm goat cheese but got normal poffertjes )
I love to spend money but tbh it wasn’t worth it.
So only recommend this place if it’s sunny and you can sit in the sun.
