★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy place with just the right amount of people and noise. Had a small selection of tapas food, including some local dishes. We were offered some herring and pickles which was very good. Possibilities to sit both outside and inside. Blankets were provided. They had 1 gluten free beer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went the feet are tired from walking museum to gallery and you just need to recharge take a side street. Cafe Toussaint is where you need to drop by. Sit outside it’s peaceful, watch the bikes glide home from work. A limited menu, reasonable selections of wines or tasteful beers. The key to the Cafe is its where you will find local Amsterdamers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great real Amsterdam place where real Amsterdammers go. Especially for coffee and lunch. But these guys also have a simple evening dinner menu. Nice to go on a rainy but even better on a sunny day on their outdoor terrace

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked everything here: the food, atmosphere, music. My friend, on the other hand, wasn't that much impressed; he thought the tomato soup was sour and he noticed some mould on the ceiling. I didn't mind that at all, the vibe was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect 1st evening in Amsterdam. We stumbled on this little gem while.exploring the neighbourhood. A limited menu but brilliantly done. The mussels were the best I have had and my wife loved her rib eye steak. V friendly staff and clearly a popular local haunt. Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is pretty cozy and the food is delicious. But the server wasn’t very nice (we asked him to translate something to English and he said Dutch is pretty similar to English we can figure it out) and the silverware and coffee cup were kinda dirty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small menu, good food (!). Had a lovely&great time at this cafe. Very friendly staff. It is lovely to be able to have time to have chat and enough time between service to be able to experience to go out for dinner (of course if you prefer a quick service you can ask). Cozy atmosphere and also, a good terrace to sit outside.
