★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, we did not have the apartment to ourselves, a mouse was also sharing it with us. I disturbed it eating our bread when I went to the kitchen for a drink of water in the night. Capital Apartments said it's common in Amsterdam and offered us no redress on this issue of poor hygiene. So expect to see mice in your apartment but don't expect any compensation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't like to leave negative reviews, and I tend to believe in the "if you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything at all" mantra. However, my emails have been left unanswered and I believe my mother and 3 other family members are being taken advantage of.
The state of the "Stunning Cozy Jordaan" apartment is sadly appalling. The company refused to relocate my family and only offered to have the cleaning team come by....again.
1) The curtains are ripped, stained and coming off of the track in the (Floor 1 Street facing bedroom).
2) The light is coming out of the wall (Floor 1 Street facing bedroom)
3) There is a foreign substance stained on the wall above headboard (Floor 1 Street facing bedroom)
4) There is an overwhelming smell of mold in the entire home
5) In the WC there is obvious black mold growing out of the vent
6) In the WC there is an abundance of dust
7) In the Shower, the is mold both in the grout, on the floor, etc.
8) Shower floor is not clean
9) There is food/ beverage/ trash stained on the wall in the kitchen
10) There is mold on the kitchen wall
11) Dust everywhere in the kitchen
12) The kitchen table was not clean (obvious residue of food from previous guests)
13) Stairs exiting the kitchen, there is trash underneath from previous guests
14) The blue barstool is broken and should be removed as it is not safe to sit on
15) Floors were clearly not vacuumed nor washed
