★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we first arrived we were a bit disappointed that the decor was very tired and rather 1970s.
However, we didn't intend to stay much in the hotel, so actually do it didn't matter.
The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. The Wi-Fi worked well and we were not disturbed by other guests.
If you want a posh hotel then this isn't for you. Be aware the stairs are narrow and steep as it is an old building that has been converted.
We had no issues and would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, really friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much. Had a canal view from our adequate bedroom. Only thing to be mindful of, the stairs are very steep and would nor suite some people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean bathroom, but small rooms. The TV didn't work and the walls need a new paint job. The towels smelled a bit muffy. But the people were really friendly and nice and the breakfast was amazing with fresh juice and croissants and lots of choices. The location is very good, you can easily walk to the highlights of Amsterdam and the flower market is in the vicinity. Also it's pretty quiet around that area so it's a good place to stay if you need to spend one night in Amsterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wife and I had a great few days here. Rooms were on the small side but that was fine with us as we spent all our time out and about. The rooms very clean.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this hotel! Staff was super friendly and let us keep our bags there since we arrived before check in. The rooms were a little small but we were out in the city all day anyways. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Would definitely recommended! Just be careful on the stairs as they are a bit steep!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super location and staff. Very good room - recommend you book with canal view! Standard breakfast. Too soft bed, old room but new modern bathroom, shower could be more powerful. Really nice lotion and shampoo. Free soda!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a nice stay at this Hotel. The room was cute, also the view from our window was amazing. The breakfast was super. You get different things and you can take as much as you want. During the day you can take a Coke or ask for more Tea or coffee. And the young lady that is working there is super friendly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ STAY AWAY!! The hotel (not me) cancelled my stay last minute. They went silent on me when I asked for a refund and didn't respond to my calls or emails, or those of the third-party booking company (Booking.com), for a month. After a month of silence, they finally responded to my email and told me that'd sort it with the booking company. However, 2 weeks later and they have not responded to Booking.com - according to them have they have more than 20 bookings at this hotel that were impacted but the hotel still isn't responding to them. A month and a half and countless wasted hours later, I will get a refund through Booking.com and they will pursue action against this hotel. I get that Covid and closures happen, but don't ghost your customers when you owe them money! Shame on you!
