About Hotel Rokin, Amsterdam
You can take a couple of different options to arrive at our hotel.
The quickest and easiest is to take the train. The train runs every 15 minutes from 06.00 until midnight. Between midnight to 06.00 the train runs every hour. A single way travel costs €4,60.
We are approximately a 15-minute walk from central station. When you exit from the station, keep walking straight towards Dam Square. After Dam Square keeping walking straight ahead along Rokin street and we will be on the left.
The CONNEXXION bus will take approximately 30 minutes and costs €17,50 pp one way. The bus runs every half hour between 07.00 and 21.00. The bus stops at Dam Square and from there we are approximately 5 minutes walking.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport to our hotel. A taxi will cost roughly €50,00 and will take about 30 minutes.

β β β β β I donβt attend much from a cheap place like this, but still it was shocking. I chose it due to its central position and knowing itβs only for one night. The first room was stinking, then I moved to another which was even worse: a prison has more comfort than this disgusting place. Avoid the βbreakfastβ!

β β β β β everything was super nice, it was very clean, central, the people who worked there are super friendly,
except the "Bed". We had a Twin room in the 4th floor and it was not so comfortable to sleep on it. If they had a nicer bed/Matraze they woukd get 5 stars

Stuff are nice and professional
Rooms are not the best
Underground rooms with small window (jail window) and no view, just a wall
No noise conciliation, you can hear other guest, even the cleaning lady when she comes in the morning lot of noise (vacuuming &talking) I would recommend it just because of location

Great breakfast and friendly staff.
Earlier check-in than expected.
We could also store our package any time we wanted.
The heater wasn't that strong enough in our basement room.

Itβs a really nice hotel, very affordable and in a perfect location. Itβs literally on the doorstep of all the amenities/tourist attractions. The staff are outstanding ?

β β β β β Stayed for one night but will be our go to every time we head to Amsterdam! Great, friendly staff that where more than helpful. Got an upgrade before we went to the room as the staff thought it smelled like smoke, which was considerate! Close to dam square and a walking distance to all the tourist spots.
