Interesting place, where to find lot of typical Italian products, from vegetables to pasta, sauces and wine. Not a big place but with several options. Main problem is represented by prices, that are extremely high. I understand that quality must be paid, but I would say that there should be a limit, in particular for vegetables.

The selection of cheeses and other Italian delicatessen is great. Staff friendly and English speaking. Came in from the street and asked them to make a picnic basket. They went all in, best lunch we had that weekend. Avoid the orange wine.

Located close to Amsterdam's antique quarter, this gourmet store is a 'must ' for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. Run by Gessica and Gianni, a delightful and friendly couple, their knowledge of Italian produce is second to none and they are more than happy to share it. Products are imported directly from over 100 small scale farmers, mainly from the Tuscany and Umbria regions in central Italy, known as the country's green heart. Freshly picked fruit and vegetables offer taste sensations beyond comparison, as well as foraged truffles, risotto rice, fresh and dried pasta, olive oils and vinegar, cheeses, meat, game and salami, all of which are organically produced. There's an equally impressive selection of outstanding wines, beer and lemonade. The shelves are also adorned with traditional pottery and earthenware. Sumptuously filled sandwiches bring back memories of Italy.

Our favourite italian local - we go as often as every other week to get their burrata (the best in town!), the coppa , mortadella etc and sometimes we also take some other cheeses. Products are of great quality and never disappoint.

We arrived after the doors had closedβ€”our plans of a final attempt at Cacio e Pepe foiled… but just then, the shopkeep came outside and ushered us in to quickly buy our meager two ingredients. We left with fresh spaghetti, the finest, most authentic Pecorino, and ample cooking tips in handβ€”this time the cheesy sauce would not break… this time the cheese, pepper, and water would emulsify perfectly into a silky, opaque, bespeckled, cremosa, deliziosa. Ciao tot snel
