About Le Petit Deli
Allebei altijd een passie gehad voor goede wijn, lekker eten en vooral patisserie!
Het is een lang gekoesterde droom geweest van beide om een eigen bedrijf te beginnen wat bij Le Petit Deli allemaal samen valt.
Kaj koopt de wijnen in helpt u graag met het uitzoeken van de juiste wijn, ook geeft Kaj winetastings in de winkel of op locatie, dit kan uitgebreid worden met hapjes/drankjes tot maaltijden.
De franse patisserie, dat is waar Lotte en Kaj door geinspireerd zijn geraakt, een stukje Parijs in de Amsterdamse Jordaan openen. Elke dag verse éclairs, choux, macarons,kleine taartjes of gewoon een punt van onze bekende red velvet, cheesecake of 1 van onze andere taarten? Dat kan!
Maar vooral: laagdrempelig en voor ieder wat wils, want patisserie hoeft niet hoogdrempelig te zijn. We leggen de nadruk op patisserie maar hebben daarnaast een uitgebreide ontbijt&lunch kaart.
Verse sapjes, koffie&thee,luxe broodjes,bowles&salades,klassieke franse gerechten.. we hebben alles in huis. Catering,bezorgen&bestellingen op maat? Alles is mogelijk,wij denken graag met u mee!
2 keer per jaar rijden wij naar Parijs om inspiratie op te doen,te proeven,nieuwe recepten te ontwikkelen en ingredienten te kopen bij de franse groothandels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think I already reviewed them, but if you want a truly authentic culinary cafe experience you need to come here. The best part is that is 1) affordable, and 2) has the best staff you could ask for. We were practically neighbours for a year and the amount of times I came here to get the usual parmaham sandwich is beyond. Don't skip out on this gem in the middle of the Jordaan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with a friend that was celebrating her birthday to have breakfast together there. The place looks lovely and the atmosphere is really great. The pastries we ate were soooo delicious, you could see they were made with care and with attention to details. But our experience was made even better by the kind and very nice personnel. Me and my friend went outside to light a candle as it was her birthday and we couldn’t sit inside because of the lockdown, and the guy that works there saw us and came outside to bring us some bengal fires. It was really nice of them and also unexpected. We will definitely come back to this place, it really became my favorite place for breakfast or for a nice sweet treat in Amsterdam and I highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Croque Monsieur and the Croque Madame, and they were delicious. I don't have a single bad thing to say, not too heavy, served at perfect temperature, crispy edges and melty cheese, and the fresh cracked pepper was the best thing to throw on top. Love the wooden disposable serveware, seems like a good environmentally conscious choice.
Dessert was the financier noisette (hazelnut financier with other tasty stuff). The texture was great, the salted outside is nice, the flavors are light but complex and there's a good richness to the topping. My palate isn't refined enough to describe the exact flavors but I can tell you it was very tasty.
Definitely coming back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week we went to this great little gem around the corner, called le Petit Deli. The name gives it away already; just picture a great little romantic Parisian Deli and that's exactly what le Petit Deli will bring you.
Le Petit Deli is located in one of the loveliest streets of the Jordaan area. The little deli is just very adorable, from outside you’ll immediately get a sense of what this cute shop is about, before even setting foot in there.
You’ll be at the right spot for all your sweet cravings at ‘Le Petit Deli’. They make patisserie accessible.
It's not only sweet at Le Petit Deli, you can also go there for a delicious breakfast or lunch. Think acai bowls, yummy sandwiches and Croque Monsieur!
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at this cute little bakery and we promised each other that we will return soon, in order to try more of their delicious stuff, especially the chocolate Eclair or
their new baby; chocolate caviar tarte.
Furthermore, the owners, but also the rest of the staff are just genuinely really friendly, helpful and committed. The whole aesthetics made it such a pleasurable experience. And if you’re hungry and in a rush, no worries, they also do takeaway!
Only downside is that the lunchroom is very small. Luckily one of us was able to sit on a chair but I was sitting on a window seat and they don't have a toilet.
