About Feduzzi Mercato Italiano
Feduzzi Mercato Italiano is in 1981 opgericht door de familie Feduzzi. Hiermee was Feduzzi de eerste Italiaanse delicatessenwinkel in Nederland.
De toenmalige vestiging aan de de Weteringschans werd al snel een geliefd adres voor de liefhebber van de Italiaanse keuken.
In 1991 trad dochter Feduzzi in de voetsporen van haar vader en opende in de Scheldestraat haar eigen Italiaanse specialiteitenwinkel onder dezelfde naam. In 2001 nam Pjotr Meuwissen de winkel over. Pjotr heeft Feduzzi in de loop der jaren laten uitgroeien tot een van de beste Italiaanse delicatessenwinkels in Nederland.
“Ik vind het prachtig dat ik mijn droom heb kunnen verwezenlijken,” zegt Pjotr. “Een winkel in Italiaanse sferen
waar je niet alleen authentieke en vers bereide producten kunt kopen, maar ook een espresso of een macchiato
kunt drinken en een krantje kunt lezen. Feduzzi is ‘klein Italië’ aan de Scheldestraat.
Wie had dat gedacht toen ik hier als 18 jarige met de afwas begon.”

Had the most wonderful pasta and a great bean salad with sun dried tomatoes and herbs, perfectly spiced! Soo yummy! You can also buy original Italian ingredients in the store or take away what they have at the counter. Lovely! Excellent quality!
