The most amazing Italian restaurant in the city! ? I would highly recommend it for its food, which was delicious, also for the wine and its cocktails! ??The place was so comfortable and very nice decorated for the Christmas' holidays. ? I would like to congrats the chef and his team and of course the staff, who they were quick, friendly and very helpful! ???

Ok food but not excellent. Looks like a 10 tastes like a 7. Nice ambience and people, staff bit chaotic.

Cecconi's has long been a favourite dining haunt of international jet setters. The brainchild of Enzo Cecconi, the youngest ever General Manager of world renowned Cipriani in Venice, he opened Cecconi's Mayfair, London in 1978. His blend of innotive and exciting north Italian cuisine, based on traditional recipes passed down from generation to generation, was an instant success, attracting royalty, heads of state, actors, performers, captains of industry and gourmets. Now part of the Soho House Group, the restaurant rapidly expanded with branches throughout the world including Barcelona, Berlin, Istanbul, Melbourne, Miami Beach, Mumbai, New York, West Holywood and beyond. Cecconi's reputation is based on mouth to mouth recommendation and one could easily be forgiven for being unaware as to Cecconi Amsterdam's existence. It is hidden in plain sight within the 1930's Bungee Building on Spuistraat, opposite the trendy Cafe Schuim. There is nothing in the form of advertising boards or neon signs. Discretion is part of the appeal. Entering through the building's period revolving doors, is like stepping into another world. The restaurant is immaculately decorated in art deco style, with an amazing ambience. Plants grow on beams under the glass ceiling, creating an alfresco effect. A grand piano is regularly used to provide live entertainment. There is an elegant bar serving great cocktails. Best seats are at the rear of the establishment which have wonderful views over the Singel canal. As to be expected, service is impeccable with super friendly waiting staff. The all day dining menu features a number of home made pasta dishes, including mouth-watering Spaghetti with lobster and chilli, wood oven pizzas, carpaccio, tartare and a modest choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes prepared on wood and charcoal. There is a great selection of wines to accompany. If the purse strings will allow, the Barbera d'Alba from Piedmont is highly recommended. It's a great spot for a group brunch or dinner; Not cheap, but that's to be expected.

Great atmosphere, really nice place with people that want to be seen. However the food is not that great. Ordered a pizza with truffeles, however there was no truffles taste. The service took this remark very professional and we felt well understood. It is a great place to have a drink, watch people and listen to the piano player.
