★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place that could use a little refinement. The food was great. Mixed drinks were great. Prices were fair considering this is a tourist area. Great location nestled along a narrow walking street full of restaurants. Staff were friendly and quick to respond but a little disorganized. I do not know if this is normal in NL but while waiting our turn for a table the wait staff seated the people behind us in the line. We were told we had to wait for "a couples table." I felt like we were being passed over for a more profitable group. I thought this strange because there was another table (with 4 seats) in that row with a single patron. We waited 42 minutes to be seated. Beyond that the experience was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had "a quick dinner" in the beautiful Clichée during our Maastricht visit. Eventhough it was December with 14°C we could sit outside, thanks to the radiant heating lamps. Unfortunately the awning was very small so that we got a bit wet from the rain.
The food - classic burger and avocado burger - was very delicious, but expensive for the small portions and the french fries were served ~10 minutes before the burger. From the order to the serving a quite long time went by so they could have been regarded as appetizers ;-)
The waitress was friendly, so in total it was OK, but it is quite expensive.
