β β β β β It is regrettably sad to need to write in a concern email just after 5 hours that I checked in the hotel.
08:30Am: Right after I checked in, I called up the housekeeping to ask them to collect the laundry. When told that they would collect at 10am, I agreed thinking it is a norm even though I read clearly on the laundry notice that 09:30am is the last service provided as the next day is Sunday (where there is no service on Sunday). I quote βplease leave your laundry under the TV with a note and we will collect itβ.
When 12pm came and laundry was still here, having giving ample time, I made a second call again. I was told that she is making her way to the room. No one came of course.
I then made the 3rd call. This time, the receptionist at the front desk who checked me in this morning answered the call. I told her what the issue was and what happened. NO apologise was made and there is no sense of slight remorse. I was then informed that what she could do was to provide complimentary coins for self laundry.
It is to my utmost disappointment that this has happened. I had never expected something like this to happen in Courtyard Marriot, a well known 4-5 star international chain hotel group. I totally understand that humans make mistake. But the fact that hotel staff are giving empty promises and attitude with no sense of remorse points out to the training provided. Staff in this hotel are in no doubt the most unprofessional in the line of services. Coming from Singapore, even a 3 star budget hotel would easily surpass these standards.
2nd issue: 2nd day of my stay came along. I had decided to stay in hotel and call the room service. I was told then there is room service, but you have to go down to the restaurant and collect it myself (Apparently no understanding what is room service). I'm just curious as to why there is no room service in this Marriot hotel group? This cannot be happening in an internationally 4 star chain hotel. It is embarrassing. Definitely the same issue won't be happening in a Marriot hotel in Singapore I assure.
In conclusion, there were 50% staff were nice. More training has to be provided for obvious reason. Hotel might be understaffed.
This issue has to be highlighted to a REGIONAL MANAGER at the minimum. Past reviews in google actually did highlighted the similiar issues that I encountered 3 years ago. Apparently a reference to the General Manager did not make a single difference.
I urge and implore the higher management to look into these matter and rectify appropriately.

β β β β β Not too bad accommodation. Not much around the area but not too expensive if you need to be by the airport. I had a lot of help from the staff.. mainly Raiza, Emmy, and Eliza. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and was there to help me whenever I needed. The breakfast staff is also very friendly and genuinely friendly which is hard to come by.

β β β β β This is a review of the Brasserie in the Hotel. Ate their with colleagues earlier this week. Very poor experience. We had to ask twice at the bar for service before they came to us. It then took half an hour before some bread and aioli came and really unacceptable long before dinner came. The second appetizer we ordered came together with that main course. Anywayβ¦. Food quality was a 6.5. Not bad not good. Bit mediocre. The salmon was overcooked. Only thing nice were the fries andβ¦. The ambiance . Itβs a cozy place, nice to have in the Hotel.

β β β β β Very nice and cosy hotel. Located close to the airport but in a very green and quiet area. There is a shuttle every 30min that provides transport to and from the airport. Amazing staff. Cleaning in the rooms is not amazing, not due the the inefficiency of the staff but more because of lack of staff for so many rooms. Above all itβs a great place to stay!

β β β β β I loved staying here. It was a lot farther from the airport than I expected but that turned out OK. The property is right next to a large park with trails which is great after a few weeks in cities. Bed was comfy, loved the coffee machine, and bathroom design. Plus a nice restaurant that had room service due to covid.
