We had a really nice day here with my boyfriend. Everything is nice,clean and peaceful!! We came from Leeuwarden by bike just to see this beautiful National Park! :)

The guide that joins the tour is very well informed about what's going on, and what happened in this area in the past century.
Especially when the weather is nice, this is a great place for a day out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the nicest places near Leeuwarden. You can reach it by bike in around 1.5h. It is the closest National Park. You can visit it on foot, but better to rent a boat or see it on a bike. Lots of birds, lakes, trees. Everything is green and place is not overcrowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took a bike ride through the national park. Some areas were beautiful but we were surprised by the amount of camp sides. Next time I think we like to rent a canoe or boat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful nature and a Lot going on with boats and Bikes, also possible to Walk with Baby stroller. Dogs are allowed. Parking for free, foodtruck and Restaurants also there. Maps for walks can be Downloaded.
