β β β β β I had high expectations, Rpel used to be my favorite fries place.
However, the new store is a full disappointment.
The portion was super small compared how it used to be, the fries were completely over-fried, they hurt eating, because they were so hard.
I do not appreciate the new atmosphere of the store. It is just a posh looking snack-bar now.
Only positive aspect: the satΓ© sauce still tasted like it used to taste and basically came in a soup bowl (size-wise).
I am sad that Eindhoven lost its best fries shop.

β β β β β Definitely one of the best fries I've had in long time. Absolutely loved the crispy fries with curry sauce! Conveniently located close to the center. Quick service and nice ambience coupled with reasonable prices.

β β β β β This place had not so good start after taking over RPEL, I had got an overpriced, small portion of tiny fries but after a couple of months I finally decided to give it another try. Today it was perfect, huge portion of good chilli cheese fries with a lot of toppings for 6 euros definitely puts this place back on Eindhoven food map. Keep it up!

β β β β β Really impressed with the delivery from here. We ordered loaded fries; the fries and toppings are packaged separately so everything arrives fresh. No plastic, huge plus. Food is delicious, we loved the gyros and beef stew fries. Will definitely order again or drop by in future!

β β β β β This is a brand new restaurant replacing the RPEL. Thus, expectation is high since they are successor of RPEL where was the best fries bar in Eindhoven.
Unfortunately this place is not as good as RPEL. Fries taste is not good as before. Size of the plate is small compared to before. On our plates, there were lots of βfriesβ that cannot be eaten since they were very little and βburntβ. RPEL did not serve such a small and burnt fries. Even regular fries bars do not serve such fries. This is disappointing.
Drinks were changes to big commercial brands. Sauces are free with the plates, or for only our orders, I am not sure. But taste of truffle mayonnaise is still good as before. They have additionally sandwiches!
Important positive thing could be, Fries are served with a fancy plates with a fancy style, like a waffle! It was regular paper-cup before but taste was very good.
Price/Performance is not good
