★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtige grot in de Cannerberg, die begin 20ste eeuw is versierd met allerlei soorten tekeningen, schetsen en beelden door de Jezuïeten.
Zeker de moeite waard om het te bezoeken.
Beautiful cave in the Cannerberg, which was decorated at the beginning of the 20th century with all kinds of drawings, sketches and statues by the Jesuits.
Definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cet endroit est beaucoup trop peu connu. On ne peut le visiter qu'en groupe avec un guide assermenté. Certains guides parlent le français et la visite est vraiment incroyable. Des dizaines de km de galeries (on se limite à deux heures...) qui sont exploitées et décorées depuis plus de 3 siècles par les gens du coin qui y extrayaient les blocs de tuffeau pour construire leurs maison, par des jésuites venus du monde entier et même par l'Otan qui y avait une base secrète jusqu'à la fin du XXème siècle... On en prend plein les yeux et les anecdotes sont toutes aussi passionnantes les unes que les autres. Il y a de quoi écrire un beau roman ou tourner un film passionnant...
This place is far too little known. It can only be visited in groups with a sworn guide. Some guides speak French and the visit is really amazing. Dozens of km of galleries (it is limited to two hours ...) that have been exploited and decorated for over 3 centuries by the locals who extracted the blocks of tufa to build their homes, by Jesuits from the world whole and even by the NATO which had a secret base until the end of the XXth century ... One takes many eyes and the anecdotes are all as enthralling ones as the others. There is enough to write a beautiful novel or make an exciting film ...
