★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig, zeer de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Het was ondanks het heerlijke weer niet te druk, alleen bij de horeca gelegenheden (2 locaties, op ongeveer 250 m van elkaar gelegen) is het oppassen geblazen.
 Beautiful, well worth a visit. Despite the wonderful weather, it was not too busy, only at the catering establishments (2 locations, located about 250 m apart) you should be careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Met een skywalk en een klif-hangende trap werd in Maastricht de voormalige Enci-groeve ontsloten als uniek wandelgebied.
Wandelend tussen vindplaatsen van mosasaurussen, langs oude mergelgangen en kalkwanden doorregen met vuursteenbanken volbrengt de wandelaar een educatieve tocht door de tijd. Twee chalets bieden onderweg rustpunten en vertier.
With a skywalk and a cliff-hanging staircase, the former Enci quarry in Maastricht was opened up as a unique walking area.
The hiker completes an educational journey through time walking among sites of mosasaurs, past old marl corridors and limestone walls drenched with flint benches. Two chalets offer relaxation points and entertainment along the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Aufstieg auf den Sint Pieter Berg lohnt sich, man erreicht nach circa 15 Gehminuten das Baggerloch der Enci Fabriken, die dort Kalkstein abbaute. Man hat eine spektakuläre Aussicht, gut dass wir den Tip vom Guide bei den Grotten Noord bekamen.
The ascent to Sint Pieter Berg is worthwhile, after about 15 minutes on foot you can reach the excavation hole of the Enci factories, which mined limestone there. You have a spectacular view, good that we got the tip from the guide at the Grotten Noord.

Quarry/mine that has been shut down for 2 years. Walk up the path after the mine and then descend through the stairs back in time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier kun je heerlijk wandelen. Let wel: berg op en af en trapjes. Voor kinderwagens/buggy's/rollators/rolstoelen moeilijker mede door grove kiezelpaden nabij de groeve. Eromheen is dit wel beter te doen. Mn door de velden en bos in de buurt.
Genoeg te wandelen en ook horeca in de buurt. Bij huize slavante heb je prachtig uitzicht en kun je ook naar toilet. Tevens een speeltuin voor de kinderen. Wij liepen rondje rond de groeve dit was ongeveer 6-7 km.
Here you can enjoy a walk. Note: uphill and downhill and steps. More difficult for prams / buggies / rollators / wheelchairs, partly due to rough gravel paths near the quarry. It is better to do this around it. Especially through the fields and forest nearby.
Enough to walk and restaurants in the area. At the Slavante house you have a beautiful view and you can also go to the toilet. Also a playground for the children. We walked around the quarry which was about 6-7 km.
