Over de Nederlandse Molendatabase
De Nederlandse Molendatabase is dé dagelijks aangepaste, verzameling van het complete, werkende Nederlandse bestand van molens, samengesteld door molenminnend Nederland voor iedereen met een interesse in molens. De Molendatabase is het resultaat van gezamenlijke inspanningen van honderden liefhebbers van molens. De Molendatabase was de eerste volledige inventarisatie van Nederlandse molens op het internet en bestaat sinds augustus 1999. De Molendatabase bevat op dit moment de gegevens van 1218 molens.
Sinds 1999 heeft de Molendatabase tientallen miljoenen individuele bezoekers gehad en bereikt tegenwoordig een half miljoen pageviews per maand. We zijn er trots op dat we zoveel mensen een plezier kunnen doen.
U kunt zelf ook bijdragen aan dit mooie document. Iedere nieuwe aanvulling (tekst of foto's) is van harte welkom. Inzendingen zijn mogelijk via de pagina van de betreffende molen.

It was lovely & quiet to sit here on a bench with a nice breeze and the windmill in the background. You can also hear & see wildlife

It is a pleasent walk from the Amsterdam RAI metro stop. The walk goes through Amstel park then along the the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Embarrassed to say that I have biked right by this beautiful Windmill house for a couple of years and only now decided to stop and take a picture. I read that it's the most photographed windmill in the Nederlands and after taking the time to stop and enjoy I understand why. It also appears that a family lives there. Best way to visit is via a bike ride, which the whole area is just beautiful sight seeing and a few restaurants spotted all along the river. Take a day bike the area, you'll love it!
