Staff were lovely and attentive, with a real sense of customer service.
The bagel was lovely and they do make a good Cappucinno!
It's a nice cafe to take a break in if you find yourself taking a walk around the beautiful amsterdam canals and centre, we had a game of Jenga and sat and people watched for a while.
Nice vibe in this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed my lunch and stay to this cafe. We went there as a group and the staff was amazing! Very helpful, polite, and with tons of humour! Lunch was very nice that I enjoyed it very much. Beer was also very nice, in a nice glass and cold. They provided receipts for everyone separately, and they thanked us for visiting. I highly recommended this cafe for a quick but quality lunch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food, great drinks, cozy and laid back atmosphere. Our party of four had a lovely time here while visiting Amsterdam from the US. Staff is good spirited and was helpful with our novice tipping questions. I would 100% recommend Staalmeesters to anyone looking for good food, drinks, and a fun time for a decent price. They also have a resident cat (Hank) who is just fantastic and may sit at the bar.
Order the Staalmeesters kip sate! SO GOOD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks beautiful, service wasn’t the best be super careful if your ordering a burger and do not want some toppings as it is not specified on the menu but the burger does also have sauce and salad!!
I asked the server could something be done as the sauce and salad were not shown on the menu and he said no they made it so I’ll have to pay for it either way!

Unfortunately, the waiter forgot about our order, and when we asked about it, after 1 hour, they send it again to the kitchen. We had to wait 10 more minutes and it was ready. We received 2 beers from the house for this issue.
