Espressobar Puccini bevindt zich in de Staalstraat 21, midden in het oude Joodse kwartier, tegenover het Waterlooplein en de Stopera. Sinds 1986 kunt u hier heerlijk lunchen met daarbij een goede kop Illy koffie of een van onze huisgemaakte sapjes.
Ons gebak van de Pompadour & Brittons Bakery is u vast bekend. Uiteraard bakken wij ook zelf appeltaart, cheesecake en andere lekkernijen.

β β β β β Went in this nice caffetteria, and as always enjoyed a good quality breakfast. The waitresses were very nice, specially the young blonde one (sorry, do not know the name). The only negative note is the manager I suppose. When I kindly asked if there is any toilet, simply a nice way to ask for permit to use it, he replied : "no, we actually pee behind the bar", and is not the first time I see him being rude to customers. I was expecting more considering the good work the other colleagues of him are doing.

β β β β β Stopped for lunch, it was perfect. Very fresh, very tasty, not too heavy but filling. Great view and people watching while you eat. Friendly staff! Had a prosciutto sandwich, would definitely recommend and will come again next time I'm wandering the city all day.

The drinks is quite good but the food is more amazing. We ordered one croissant with aged cheese and brown bread also with aged cheese ? nothing to complain

β β β β β Had a lovely lunch with friends at the Puccini. It is a cosy little place with a lot of windows. We sat inside feeling warm while looking at the beautiful canals and people passing by with winter coats.
I was there 1 month ago so I am a bit fuzzy about the details. I can remember that they had good vegetarian/vegan options and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
