On this occasion they gave me an emergency appointment for an extra fee, that felt a bit like taking advantage of my concern for my cat, but business is business and they dealt with it professionally.

We usually went to the Frederik Henriks office, but this time was an emergency, and I was taken seriously and properly. Good vets.

I was informed that there is one person allowed inside while the doctor took my dog away alone ( I am angry at myself that I allowed that - it took me as surprise- I should have just left) It was our first visit at the vet and my dog was taken away from me to unknown place by unknown men who didn't even pet him or greet him in anyway. He refuse to take treets for him that I had to comfort him. After some time he returned the dog with complain that the dog didn't behave good. He mention told that when they were holding him still (?!!) he did as if he want to bite. I don't think holding dog still is a good method. He listen to, sit, down and stay and that would do the work.
But doctor conclusion was that my dog needs to see the specialist.
I am so mad that I let it happen!
After that appointment my dog that is usually friendly longing for contact is now avoiding cuddles. He is escaping from the hug that reminds him of being forced still. So now we need to gradually get him used to it again. I don't want to have a vet that cost my dog traumas.
