Great supermarket, big selection

the Dirk van den Broek is pretty much the best value for your buck in Amsterdam. This franchise in particular is quiet pleasant as it's located against the canal next to some other small shops. Not too busy and really a part of the real Amsterdam. 4/5 if it wasn't for the bowing down to the covid insanity

Very nice service, mostly gets what we want,workers are friendly and helpful, good range of products, very happy with this super market.

A store that doesn't respect their customers, going throughout your personal belongings(bags) just because they are cheap and would not instal alarms detectors like 2022 shops should, instead u need to open all ur bags, backpack, purse and explain to a cashier what u have inside...so pathetic.

Kassa's need an upgrade ?. Too crowded and the shopping experience gets draining due to the long queuing time.

My local. Used to always be an AH shopper till I moved. Dirk is much more reasonably priced and huge selection. Quality is good and staff are friendly and helpful. Always tidy and well stocked.

Massive store, wide assortment and great prices. If you are keen on choosing from multiple options at a great price, then Dirk is the place for you. Area and Layout: (5/5) This is a massive store. As you walk in there are flowers and floor units for promotions in the middle with clothing and other household type products. There are foods on the left and then you enter the area for fresh and cold stored items. The veggies are fresh and the meats look really good. The milk and yogurt room is fantastic. Probably one of the best among the stores around this area. Very easy to spot and pick products. The regular aisles have alcohol, household and foods. There isn’t any self checkout, but that’s alright as the team is super quick and waiting times at billing are very low. Covid Regulations: (4/5) The carts seemed to be cleaned regularly and there was sanitiser on entry. All the staff were were wearing masks. The transparent sheets also separated the staff during billing as well. All in all really good. Service: (5/5) Some of the best staff I have seen. I would like to specifically mention Brenden who really helped me out. While billing I ended up dropping my wallet and didn’t even realise, he quickly ran across from the other side and picked it up and gave it back to me. I’m very grateful for that. All in all, the staff here have been great every time I go there. Summary: (4/5) A great shopping option near Hoofddorpplein. It is also the biggest store in this area. Great staff, excellent product mix and wide assortment with great prices make this a wonderful shopping option.
