Completely unprofessional brokers. First they make you pay a 25 euro fee just to book a visit, then do not answer the phone when you call and email even worse.

When you want to rent, they are very friendly. But that is just the start, once you have signed the contract... When you rent a house you'll need to pay administrative costs, about 300 euro's in my case. However, this is against the law in the Netherlands, so I asked for my money back. I had to go to small claims court to settle things (after repeatedly emailing and sending letters), but of course they were ''acting according to the Dutch law''. A while later when looking for a different house I asked for a note that I have been a good renter, as I have always paid on time. I got a call from Jerry, the boss, saying that he would not give me that seeing as I had been ''childish'' and he would be ''childish'' back. Referring to the administrative costs I LAWFULLY got back. Oh well, I contacted my landlord and he wrote it for me quick snap. But it gives to show how Domvast works. If you do not obey them and thank them on your knees for a living space then you get a call from the owner that he will refuse to do anything for you, even if it is totally something different; professionalism is far away at this estate agent, ESPECIALLY with Jerry Saffrie. Other notes: I got my deposit back 2 weeks later then promised. So for you renters out there: be prepared to get f**ed in the *ss when doing business with Domvast. They will try anything to get away with unlawful things and when you get whats rightfully yours it is suddenly your problem. Be careful. ALWAYS get everything on paper, just to be sure.

General experience wasn't bad, until I tried multiple times for a viewing with the agent Lara and was greatly disappointed. Despite being a registered member with them, she treated me with no consistency or professional behaviour. Initially the property I wanted to view was "fully booked for viewings", but when I inquired again I was given a time and date for a viewing. On the day of the viewing, Lara calls me to say it is no longer possible for a viewing on this day, but I should "text" her my availability and we can reschedule. So I did text her - twice - and got no response back from her. Absolutely unprofessional.

Unlike seemingly most people looking for rental space here, my experience with domvast has actually been a positive one. At first I was a tad worried about the communication. I had responded to a livingspace that I *really* wanted to rent, but no email reply came in. I eventually decided to just pay them a visit, and from that point on everything worked out just right. The estate agents kept their word, helped me well and I ended up being able to rent the place. Solid service with a rocky start.

If you want to rent an apartment run away from them. My experience has been very negative. First of all they make you to pay money to be registered and receive information from them. Once we paid the money we only received a simple email offering 2 apartments which didn't match our preselected search criteria. After telling them what exactly I was looking for they told me that I needed to be registered first (again?). I sent them an email to have an explanation and nothing has been responded. As such, I don't recommend them.

Don't waste your money paying to register thinking it will give you a better chance/ they tell you that they can only consider you for viewings if you sign up. Unhelpful and unresponsive. Even if you ring up at 11 when they open and are then told to email about the property because they can't handle it over the phone " The colleague only works through email". To then email after the phonecall to only get a response a few days later saying all three properties have too many responses. It's too late for me, but keep your money and find a different estate agents!

They never replied to any of my messages (even though I see they read it on WhatsApp). Apparently they don't care for you unless you register in advance and pay a fee of 25€ via their shady website! Like, why on earth should anyone pay a fee to just get a reply? Based on the previous reviews, I can see this is actually their default behavior. It's honestly mysterious to me how can such a company even survive! Gonna leave this here until I get a proper reply from them and get a sense of improvement on their side which I doubt will ever happen!

As per usual when I have a negative experience with a company, I immediately look them up online. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the reviews of this agency seem to be exactly in line with my experience. I visited an apartment, was offered the contract by the broker, but ended up not being able to make it work financially (in part due to the extra service costs not mentioned in the advertisement). When telling the realtor, I received a pithy, cheap, and disrespectful response. This type of conduct should never happen in a professional relationship, no matter the business outcome. After reading a few more reviews, it seems they are not trustworthy with respect to return of deposit, payment, etc. While I cannot speak to this as I did not get this far, I can certainly breathe a breath of fresh air knowing that I avoided this altogether!
