Good variety of foods but old-fashioned and not customer-oriented management - bank card payment from 5 Euro and having to weigh own vegetables have long been changed in many other supermarkets in the area including Lidl/Aldi and Edeka supermarkets in Kleve.

They love Foodstuff because they can charge a hefty price for it. You can get nearly everything you need but not always the freshest.

Let's start with parking. Parking lot is large enough. I can always find a spot. Nice large drinks store with nearly everything you need in drinks. Shopping carts are plentiful. Even with a full parking lot, the store doesn't seem full. As in most, the produce section is first. The staff keeps it well stocked. BUT, check your produce before. Often enough, I have found mold growing on diverse products. Lemons in nets and packed tomatoes being most often. I can understand it happening sometimes, but happens way too often. Other departments are well stocked. The meat counter is top! We have never been dissatisfied with any products from the meat department. They have magazines, household goods, DVDs, pet foods, personal hygiene and so on. Pretty much a "One stop shopping" experience. Checkout can be very full before holidays and long weekends. After checkout, there's a bakery and flower department. Yes, it's a bit expensive here, but so is every other Edeka. You can save money by going to discounters, but will probably have to stop a multiple places to get everything you need. I hope this helps.
