This is a great place to have some drinks and talk to some great people. Very comfortable and friendly staff!

Had lunch here and was served raw chicken. So apology was made and no compensation of any kind was offered. I suspect the same chicken was recooked and order 5 min later. With 2 great competitors next door I will not visit again.

We had a very disappointing time tonight (19 April 2019). The place didn’t look terribly busy. My wife and I entered after 7 pm and we paid the bill at 9 pm. The only reason we paid the bill was by request otherwise I might still be waiting to pay. For everyone’s future sake, please advertise that you only take American Express and not debit cards. Total was 40,70 Euro and we sat at table 19. I got the Broodje spareribs (all you could eat) and my wife got the chicken Caesar salad. I understand that dining in Europe is an experience (because We have lived in Europe before) and dinner is at a leisurely pace. Tonight we both observed two couples enter the outdoor seating area 30-45 minutes after we sat down. These couples received immediate attention; we waited over 15 minutes to receive a menu, greeting or even a drink order. It was like we did not exist. To add insult to our poor service, both couples received their food rapidly and it wasn’t until we repeated inquired and my wife getting up to cancel our order that we were finally served the main meal. We got bread at 8:15 pm. We walked back to our place just down the street with no apology for the service other than we are very busy. Right before I asked for my check, I was asked if I wanted another beverage that was the only repeat beverage service inquiry. I declined and also declined any additional spareribs. As a positive note, the spicy spareribs were good. My take away from this experience. Post this review to as many travel sites I possibly can and do not come back until I am a resident of Lisse and be a former American citizen.

beautiful location in the middle of Lisse. The food is delicious and you can order small fingerfoods for the kids.We will definitely come back again. We felt very comfortable.

I like the domestic atmosphere and tasty food. Nice bonus that the kitchen works very fast. Perfect for a dinner with friends or family. Very quiet place.

Breakfast menu for the whole day. Good price and great taste. The croissant was warm and soft, just like they make it in a small bakery in France. Service was swift too.

Awful experience. The place was almost empty but even so, we hardly got service. We had to constantly go into the restaurant and talk to the waitresses, who were just standing around the bar chatting, if we wanted to get service. The food finally arrived, and it was as if it had just been sitting for a while and they just re-deep fried. When it came time to pay (and we had to go inside to ask them for the bill), they finally told us they don't accept visa, and that there wasn't an atm nearby, so we had to go to a grocery store and get cash back. I don't live around here, but if I did, I certainly wouldn't return.
